Artarmon property prices keep heading north

A few years back, $1.5 million was all you needed to buy a comfortable, freestanding home in Artarmon’s National Trust-listed east side. But thanks to phenomenal growth of more than 50 per cent over the past five years, the suburb’s median house price has risen to $1,895,000 and $1.5 million has become the entry point.

Last year’s highest recorded price rivals the high prices of luxury homes in more upmarket suburbs such as Willoughby and Northbridge.
